Dale Lee Kjorsvik | Jan. 23, 1952 – Oct. 9, 2023

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved patriarch, Dale Lee Kjorsvik on October 9, 2023. Born January 23, 1952 in Seattle, WA to Selmer and Margret (Angleshaug) Kjorsvik. Dale was raised in Woodinville, WA the youngest of seven children. He graduated from Bothell High School in 1970. He married his first wife Julianna Coleman of Woodinville, WA. Together they had daughter, Jennifer & son, David they resided in Woodinville, WA. After the dissolution of marriage, Dale purchased 5 acres in Duvall, WA in 1991. He then met and married Joyce Butler of Spokane, WA in 1994. They built their home in Duvall, WA, where they raised their two daughters, Jerrica and Rachael. Dale retired from Chaussee Siding (Wine Valley) in 2007. He spent the next years enjoying his home improvement projects, working in his yard, and fishing. Dale loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was always willing to help out his family and friends. He hosted the annual family picnic, and was always willing to support his kids and grandkids in all of the many sports and activities they were involved in. Often giving rides to practices and cheering at games and shows. Dale is preceded in death by his parents Margret & Selmer Kjorsvik, step-mother Tillie Kjorsvik, four of his siblings, Barbra (Dick) Chambers, Doug Kjorsvik, Marvin (Faye) Kjorsvik, & David (Kathy) Kjorsvik. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Butler) Kjorsvik of Duvall. His children, Jennifer (Kjorsvik) Martin of Lake Stevens, David (Jamie) Kjorsvik of Sultan, Jerrica Kjorsvik of Duvall, & Rachael Kjorsvik of Duvall. His grandchildren, Tim (Kiersa) Martin, Kayla Martin, Faith Kjorsvik, & Taylor Kjorsvik. Two great-grandchildren, Sophie Brunk & Westley Martin. Sisters, Mary (Ralph) Laine & Doreen (Jim) Kacer, Brother-in–law, Jeff Butler & Mother-in-law, Sylvia Butler. A service was held Tuesday October 17, 2023 at 3 p.m. at Purdy & Kerr Funeral Home, 409 W. Main St., Monroe, WA 98272.
