Paws & Pines Holiday Fest brings cheer — and hope — to Woodinville pets
A little holiday spirit goes a long way this December as Red Waggin’ Rescue hosts its Paws & Pines Holiday Fest at the Woodinville Town Center. The event runs from Friday, December 5, to Monday, December 8, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., in the PetSmart parking lot at 17845 Garden Way NE — offering residents a chance to pick up their Christmas tree, snap a festive photo with Santa Paws, and help local animals in need.
Families and pet lovers can visit all weekend to pick from a selection of holiday trees, with proceeds going to Red Waggin’ Rescue’s mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned cats and dogs. Photos with Santa Paws will be available Saturday and Sunday only, offering visitors a great chance to include their furry friends in this year’s holiday memories.
Founded in 2012 in Eastern Washington, Red Waggin’ Rescue is a foster-based, nonprofit organization that has helped countless animals find their forever homes. The group’s work goes beyond rescue — offering pet food education, encouraging responsible pet care, and fostering compassion for animals among young people.
“Every animal deserves to be loved and find a forever home,” the organization’s mission states. And during this festive season, every purchase and photo helps make that goal a reality — with 100% of donations going directly to animals in need.
